Sheep Shearing School: Friday, September 27from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Instructors will teach the sheep shearing pattern, discuss animal and wool handling techniques and more. The $125 registration fee covers your copy of a national sheep shearing manual and lunch.

Fall Field Day: Satuday, September 28 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Speakers: Michigan State University's Small Ruminant Specialist and a representative of Byron Seeds LLC will present

Topics include:

  • Grazing and sheep economics
  • Maximizing pasture seeding mixes
  • Fencing
  • Tour (1) local grazing management area
